When you sign up for Thriving Family, there is an option at the final screen to recieve Voice of the Martyr monthly newsletter! An awesome resource for praying for the persecuted church! That was a wonderful, unexpected bonus for already getting a free subscription to a great magazine 🙂

Just wanted to give an opinion here. While I love free magazines, I will not be subscribing again to Babytalk. I used to like flipping through this magazine, but recently there has been content that is unsuitable for a Christian to read. Namely, the use of curse words, nudity, and the latest came with a baby in skull and crossbones on her hat. (Yes, I know it’s not a Christian magazine, and I know not all MSM readers are Christians…like I said, this is just my opinion. I’d rather not read stuff like that.) Another option would be to tear out offensive pages and enjoy the rest. 🙂
Once again, this is just one mom’s opinion!

Is there a catch with the Thriving Family subscription? I don’t want to get it if it makes me buy it later.
